“A world turned towards itself: several houses, places and stories interwoven, around a yard with corners and niches. Many marks and memories. Cracked stairs, rounded by time and steps, windows left open, plasters and colors washed away by rain, chimneys blackened by the heat of many winters. The lives lived in the shadow of the trees in the yard, at the table under the mulberry tree, on the bench next to the water pump, on the steps that go up towards the veranda or on those going down towards the door of the cellar, or maybe leaning elbows on the window sill looking out on the street, looking down the street one golden autumn afternoon.

This is what we found here.”

URBAN SPACES 6 – Palade revives the same houses, but DIFFERENTLY ordered. But we will keep the atmosphere of the summer afternoons in the shadow of the tree in the yard or of the winters with fire in the fireplace.
