Urban Spaces
Armătura Cluj
URBAN SPACES Armătura Cluj becomes the place for a beautiful urban lifestyle. It honors local heritage. It supports communities. It takes care of people, the city and the planet. As Urban Spaces always does.
ARMĂTURA Cluj is a bold urban regeneration project that transforms the former Armătura industrial area into a modern and vibrant neighborhood, in the heart of Cluj. Designed for people and with a clear purpose, this mixed-use district will breathe new energy into a space once defined by machinery, now reinvented for community, connection and creativity.

Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Rooted in tradition. Built for community.
URBAN SPACES ARMĂTURA Cluj honors the rich industrial heritage of the city by transforming a former factory into a vibrant, people-centered urban neighborhood. This redevelopment creates a bridge between history and modernity, preserving the character of the past while embracing a greener and more sustainable future.
The project is designed to support local communities through thoughtful and visionary development. It brings together residential, workspace and cultural spaces in a way that encourages connection, creativity and a sense of belonging.
“Reflection and experiment […] From a series of experimental projects by ADNBA, the latest example is perhaps also the boldest, as it looks at a mini-neighborhood on the edge of a historic city. The Cluj complex is still in a preliminary phase. I would very much like to see the principle of isolated objects – which are, in fact, enclosures of the exterior that becomes interior, in a reinvention of both the traditional and the modernist urban model – come to fruition.”

Location
With an area of 150,000 square meters and developed in four phases, ARMĂTURA Cluj is a large-scale urban transformation. The project will deliver 1,000 modern apartments, tailored to the needs of a dynamic and diverse community. Integrated within the residential area, the neighborhood will naturally complement the community with vibrant commercial spaces, flexible offices and a thoughtfully designed hotel that combines functionality with character.
Community
Culture and care for people are deeply integrated into the masterplan. Spaces dedicated to art galleries, sports activities and small communities will enrich everyday life and reflect the creative spirit of Cluj. A public park and pedestrian-friendly streets will make the neighborhood green and accessible, with sustainability embedded in the infrastructure. Armătura will be a vibrant mini-neighborhood that reflects the energy of Cluj: open, dynamic and ever-evolving.
